Westport, CT -- Westport Historical Society announces the appointment of a new Education Director, Nicole Carpenter.
Nicole has experience in education and programming specifically in non-profit organizations. Her experience is enhanced by her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and Painting with a minor in both History and Business Administration. Nicole also completed her Master’s Degree in Museum Studies with a concentration in Education and Development at Syracuse University.
As Education Director, Nicole is responsible for both children and adult education through engaging and instructional programs. Nicole will expand after school programming, incorporating science and art projects related to Westport and Connecticut history as well as introduce new programs for adults, such as tours of Westport architecture and cemeteries, and lunch lecture series.
