Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport’s Award-Winning Downtown Cabaret Theatre (DCT) Children’s Company continues its 2017/18 season by putting the Cabaret twist on the beloved story Goldilocks written by Phill Hill.
Opening Weekend: February 24 & 25, Saturday at 12noon & Sunday at 1:00pm
March 3 – March 25, Saturdays at 12noon & 2:30pm & Sundays at 1:00pm & 3:30pm
March 31st, Saturday at 12noon and 2:30 pm
A brand new twist on the classic tale of a mischievous little girl and her encounter with the bear family. This topsy-turvy new adaptation is full of fun and adventure that is not too big, not too small, but just right.
The professional cast includes Lance Anthony (Bridgeport), Cassie Carroll (Fairfield), Corinne Marshall (Hamden), Andrea Pane (Fairfield), and Myles Tripp (New Haven). The production’s creative team is led by Director and Choreographer Christy McIntosh-Newsom, Musical Director Eli Newsom, Set Designer Rosalind Isquith, Costume Designer Lesley Neilson Bowman, Lighting Designer Axel Hammerman, Sound Designer Chris Gensur, and Production Stage Manager Jennie Davies.
The Downtown Cabaret Theatre will also be holding a Teddy Bear Drive for the entire run of Goldilocks. At each performance, patrons can purchase a teddy bear at our merchandise stand for $5.00. Teddy bears will be donated to children at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut.
