Registration Open for Girls Summer Lacrosse at The Harvey School

Katonah, NY - Girls in both middle school and high school looking to improve their skills in the exciting sport of lacrosse can participate in an intensive one-week clinic offered at The Harvey School by one of the area’s most successful high school girls lacrosse coaches.

Greg Janos, entering his sixth year this spring as head coach of Harvey’s girls varsity team, will run the June 25-29 clinic for girls entering grades six through 10. The program, which will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon, will offer instruction for both beginner and intermediate-level players.

Coach Janos, whose undefeated 2015 girls varsity lacrosse team won an HVAL championship for Harvey, is excited at the prospect of welcoming aspiring players to a week of skill-building and scrimmaging in a sport that continues to see a surge in popularity among young girls.

“With assistance from some of the best high school and college players I know, my staff and I will teach the younger girls the playing techniques and in-game strategies they can use to improve their skills and learn the finer points of the sport,” said coach Janos, who has a 51-22 record while at the helm of Harvey’s girls varsity lacrosse team.

The $225 clinic fee includes daily snack and a practice jersey. To register for the clinic, https://harveycavaliercamp.campmanagement.com/enroll
