Fairfield Kiwanis Club Creating 2nd Annual Field of Valor to Honor Veterans

Fairfield, CT - To honor our Military Veterans and those actively serving our country, the Kiwanis Club of Fairfield will create their second annual Field of Valor. American flags can be purchased and will be displayed at Jennings Park in Fairfield for the two weeks surrounding Veterans Day- November 11, 2018.

All are invited to purchase flags for $25.00 for each. Your honoree and sponsor name will be proudly displayed on a card attached to each flag. Those feeling patriotic without a direct connection to a veteran can purchase flags to honor all veterans.

Proceeds will support Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport, Ct. They provide housing and vocational training to help their clients leave homelessness behind. Homes for the Brave has assisted nearly 1200 men and women most of whom are Veterans.

The Kiwanis Club of Fairfield is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our club has been in service to our community for more than 55 years.
