Visit pequotlibrary.org for more information about the books.

Experience the exhibition Egyptomania: The Western Fascination with Egypt and hear one of the world’s foremost Egyptologists, Dr. Bob Brier, as he uncovers why we are so fascinated with ancient Egypt on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:00 p.m. Then on Tuesday, January 22 meet Pequot Library staff at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and enjoy a guided tour of its collection of Egyptian art from 12:00-3:00 p.m.

Discover how to sleep the night away with speaker Donna Brown, a clinical nutritionist, at a Wellness Wednesdays program on January 16 at 7:00 p.m. Uncover the power of iPhone digital photography at a three-session, once-a-week workshop led by iPhone photography expert Julie Stauffer. The first session is February 6 from 9:15-11:45 a.m.

Finally, you are invited to share your thoughts and ideas about programming at a community forum on either Tuesday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesday, February 6 at 10:30 a.m. Help Pequot Library develop its new strategic plan.
