You're IT Brave Bright Theater Kids!

Three questions with Nicole D'onofrio, founder of Brave Bright Theater Kids.

Why did you start your business?

I’ve loved using my imagination, singing, and performing since I was a child, but was also really shy and had stage fright. People told me that I would never be able to perform in front of an audience unless, I conquered my fear. One day I sang the national anthem at a baseball game and the microphone wouldn’t work. Everyone in the stands stood up and sang with me and that day, I got over my fear and it changed my life. I wanted to create a safe space where children could love the art of theater, but not feel the pressure to perform. It has been amazing to see so many children walk in the door feeling shy and walk out feeling confident. I started my business in Hoboken, NJ. It has been very fulfilling to bring my teaching method here to Fairfield.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business.

I wish I could help even more children to stay true to themselves and let that shine.

What is your best selling product or service?

My 3 to 6-year-old class, Brave Bright Theater Kids. I have taught some students in this class from the age of 3 until they were 6 years old and it has been incredible to watch them grow and become more confident along the way.
