Ball received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and has been working as a designer and fine artist ever since. She brings her design influences to work in fine art compositions capturing light and color in the world around her.

Light is an element of Ball’s work. “Light defines what we see. Light’s purity and transcendent qualities are at the heart of my work,” Ball says. She “makes art that is observational, beautiful, sensuous and open to interpretation.”

Ball works out of her Connecticut studio and the studios at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT.

She works in a variety of media including painting, drawing and printmaking. Her works are held in private and corporate collections, and have been exhibited in the United States, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland and Spain.

In 2018, Ball was honored to have been selected to create an edition of photopolymer intaglio prints to be sold to benefit the Greenwich Arts Council's youth education programs at their Arts Alive event.

In early February, Bell was pleased to have one of her pieces shown at the International Solar Impressions exhibit at the Gold Coast Arts Center in Great Neck, NY; Her piece will be on exhibit through April, 2020.
