You're IT La Moda Fashions!
Three questions with Mary Scasino, founder of La Moda Fashions.
Why did you start your business?
I am a big fan of small business, not only because I own one, but because they connect the community. Every town is the synergy of that union. I started my business in 1989 with a dream and lots of blood, sweat and tears, as most small businesses start. The goal was to sell beautiful items with integrity and service.
Finish this sentence in regard to your business. "I wish I could…"
I wish I could have everyone in every town understand the importance of supporting small businesses. How vital it is not only to towns, cities but to each other. Virtual reality pales to the REAL things. There is nothing better than having someone know you, understand your needs and service those needs. We all appreciate walking into a store or restaurant, what have you, and the person they're addressing you by name. they know us, so we belong.
As far as our product, we carry current, quality women’s clothing, but what we sell is our customer service. As life becomes more hectic, service, connection to our consumer is key.
