What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?
I would like the community to know that I can help reschedule events that had to be postponed as well as assist those who may find themselves in need of an Event Planner. Many did everything themselves for their initial event date and are just worn out. I can help reschedule and rejigger whatever needs to be done for their new event date so they can not worry about it all for another year.
Are you offering any new products or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?
No new products are other than taking on smaller events based on the state’s guidelines. Because of my work on the Event Industry Coalition (started April 2020 as a result of the pandemic), I am very familiar with the guidelines and protocols, so I have also become someone who can work with your vendors to ensure safety and compliance.
The Women’s Business Development Council has been with me every step of the way! From helping fill out PPP, grant, and loan forms to emotional support to general business coaching, they have helped me get through a very tough time.
Please share the ways your business is adapting to keep your customers and employees safe in addition to the standard guidelines
As I said, I am very familiar with the guidelines because I have actually had input from some of them! And the best thing about being an event planner is that I am creative. I have and will use that creativity to find solutions to make the guidelines fun…for example, use hula hoops on the dance floor to socially distance or table by table dance-offs since you can’t all dance together…so many ideas!
