Bridgeport, CT - The Bijou Theatre and Highest Frequency Records are grateful to celebrate the return of live music in CT with an original, eclectic and uplifting concert featuring Light Warriors. The 9-piece band will be performing at the historic, downtown theater in Bridgeport, CT on Friday, May 14 before a limited-sized LIVE audience and a truly virtual audience!
Celebrating the recent release of their global collaborative single, Book of One, Light Warrior’s call to oneness supports the Bijou’s May concert series. The Light Warriors 2021 ONEness in CommUNITY Tour dovetails between the original and tribute productions reopening this beautiful 112-year old theatre. As ambassadors of the Artists Against Hunger and Poverty program, Light Warriors will be donating a percentage of all ticket sales to the Harry Chapin co-founded, WhyHunger, which works to end hunger and advance the human right of nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world. All tickets are available via the Bijou Theatre website.
Reserve tickets now as theatre seating is limited, due to Covid restrictions.
Live streaming tickets are also available for Friday 5/14 pm and to revisit!
As Connecticut begins to reopen from Covid rollbacks, The Bijou Theatre is re-introducing live in-person performances, along with a simultaneous live-streaming option. Home audience viewing is enhanced by a virtual reality experience at affordable ticket levels. Veteran promoters, Peter Shafran of River Spirit Music, in partnership with MUSAE, produce a concert that is both dynamic and interactive. With audio routed into the livestream directly from the soundboard combined with hi-definition video, this will be a tremendous home viewing experience.
“We are excited about the prospect of delivering an immersive, high-quality experience to everyone including those unable to attend a live show. The virtual reality elements of the live stream will make you feel as if you’re on stage with us. That’s a profound development compared to the standard FB live streams,” exclaims Highest Frequency Records owner, Erik Rabasca. “We’re beyond excited to share this night with everyone. And to help raise money for WhyHunger is something we hope everyone can get behind. Nutritious food is a human right!”
With every challenge, comes an innovation. These next-level advances in live music production help add some much-needed revenue possibilities for the Bijou, leaving the shutdowns in our rearview mirror. In partnering with a band that offers a unifying message, delivered by diverse voices representing Connecticut, this event is a great match that introduces The Bijou Theatre audience to the inspiring music of Light Warriors and their call to oneness.
