We are facing a housing crisis in Fairfield County and our work is very important and impactful as providers of affordable housing. Affordable housing improves the quality of life of low-income residents by leading them to better health, adequate jobs, financial stability, and security. The effects of affordable housing on residents are profound and capable of transforming communities. We are not only offering stable housing to our residents, but we are offering them hope during these challenging times.” Dobos adds, “Our role as an affordable housing provider has grown dramatically to meet the current crisis. Our next initiative is to help our low-wage residents by giving them essential employment skills so that they can attain financial security. Many of these residents feel lost and alone CHP is the bright light showing that we care about the residents that we serve by helping them through this crisis.”
