Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT The Goddard School!

Three questions with Kim Sherman, owner of The Goddard School.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business because I saw the need for quality childcare in the area. I love children and wanted to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our school has caring, loving teachers and we provide a safe environment where children can learn.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We use many different businesses to support us. Locally we used Puddle Bear for clothing!

Kim would like to nominate Puddle bear to be featured next!
