Connecticut Invests in Quality Child Care for Bridgeport

Bridgeport, CT - Three Little Bears Day Care just received its license from the CT Office of Early Childhood. It also received a huge grant from Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) to ensure the quality that all children deserve. This unique program is intended to serve families who work at Bridgeport Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital, as well as the local neighborhood. From infancy through preschool, children will grow and learn with highly qualified teachers and beautiful environments.

Alina Gutierrez, the owner of Three Little Bears, had a vision and the determination to make a difference. “I have been a part of this community for over 17 years as a Realtor and as the original owner of the well-known restaurant, Sazon y Mambo. One of the clear needs is for high quality Child Care, where children can really thrive.” The WBDC obviously agreed. They awarded Gutierrez four times the grant that she requested. Her business plan illustrated that this program will be sought by families who have the means to choose the best place for their children. Additionally, Three Little Bears is committed to serving those of more modest means – especially families in the neighborhood. “Every child deserves an amazing early childhood education,” said Gutierrez. She plans to accept Care4Kids and provide some financial assistance.

Three Little Bears, located at 2010 E Main St, is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, year-round. With highly competitive salaries and a great work environment, the program has attracted exceptional educators with impressive backgrounds. Additional candidates are encouraged to apply, as immediate growth is

anticipated. For information or to schedule a tour of the program, contact Alina at threelittlebearsdaycarebpt@gmail.com or call 203-345-6111.
