Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Lux Media Solutions!
Four questions with Michael Lux, founder of Lux Media Solutions.
Why did you start your business?
I started my company for two primary reasons:
1) At the time, my wife and I were about to have our first child and COVID lockdowns forced the decision to take action.
2) I have always wanted to be a consultant, using my knowledge, experience, and skill set, to help business owners and marketing teams alike grow their businesses. This is something I wasn't able to fully achieve working for large ad agencies.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Our best-selling service would be our client service. We become a part of our client's teams and work for their success as if it were our own company.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Yes, as a consultant and also an agency, we partner with many local businesses to help bolster our services and offerings. We work with A2V Media as our dedicated video/content creator and editor, as well as local Fairfield printers (Universal Printing), Infinite Web Designs (web development/design), SL Dev (SEO, PPC media), and Milk Sono (creative and branding agency) among others by specialty.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
I reimagine my small business every month, always trying to evolve, increase profit margins, new business strategies, and u; ultimately, pivot around any negative consumer or industry trends.
Michael would like to nominate Milk to be featured next - "Deb Casey is the owner and a great partner of ours!"
