Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Aurora's!

Three questions with Patti Jo Provenzale.

Why did you start your business?

Lauren and Byron Orellana were working in the restaurant industry for several years.  When the opportunity presented itself to open Aurora’s we as a family decided it was the perfect location in our Fairfield CT community to do so.

What is your best-selling product/service?

We wanted to offer a small, friendly restaurant with fresh quality offerings for our neighbors to enjoy. We believe our food and service are what bring our many loyal clients to us.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

We have the best employees who enjoy providing great service to our customers. Over the past five years, we have continued to present new offerings and specials and we will continue to do so going forward. Hopefully, all will continue to enjoy coming to Aurora’s.

Visit Aurora's online here, and make sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages as well!

Patti Jo would like to nominate Old Post Tavern to be featured next!
