Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Camoro!

Three questions with Elie Camoro, founder of Camoro.

Quality and luxury hair color and styling located in the Delamar Southport Hotel

Why did you start your business?

My wife Danielle and I started our business so that we could be closer to our children and not have to travel to NYC. Also to be in total control of creating the unique environment we set for our clients and staff!

What is your best-selling product/service?

Hands down beautiful hair color and cuts! We also carry three outstanding lines of products and offer amazing hair treatments.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We are big believers in supporting our neighbors! Uss Wellness, Chase Bank, Spic and Span Market, Artisan, and Greygoose.

Elie would like to nominate Uss Wellness to be featured next!

Camoro is located at 175 Rennell Drive in Southport. Visit Camoro online here, and make sure to check out their Instagram page as well!
