LWV Community Forum: Fairfield’s Leaders to Discuss State Budget’s Impact on Fairfield

Fairfield, CT - On Saturday, January 13, 10 AM to noon, First Selectman Mike Tetreau and Board of Finance Chair Tom Flynn will provide an up-to-date presentation on the impact of the state's budget and operations on Fairfield at a Fairfield League of Women Voters’ Community Forum. The event will take place at the Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road, Fairfield.

As we begin 2018, a key topic of focus for Fairfield citizens will be how state cutbacks and reorganizations will affect our town. Concerns include:

 - Reductions in municipal aide
 - Education Cost Sharing grant (ECS)
 - Unfunded mandates
 - Renters Rebate program for the elderly and disabled

The Community Forum will include a Q&A by the audience.

This Fairfield League of Women Voters' Community Forum is free and open to the public.

This is the first of many Fairfield League of Women Voters 2017 events. If you have any questions about the Fairfield League, please e-mail the League at //lwvfairfield@lwvct.org.">http://lwvfairfield@lwvct.org.
