Any member of the public, including town and school employees, is encouraged to submit nominations for either or both awards by 12 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018.
Nomination criteria, lists of previous winners and nomination forms can be found at www.fairfieldct.org/bosawards or by contacting the First Selectman’s Office at 203-256-3095. Please note that nominations can be submitted online.
The Board of Selectmen will present awards at one of its meetings in December to two outstanding individuals—one Fairfield resident and one Town employee. The winners’ names will be added to a plaque which lists the names of all previous winners and the year they received their award. The plaque hangs in the entryway of Independence Hall on the Burr Homestead side.
