Fairfield LWV Candidates Night Set for Oct. 16 & 23

Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield League of Women Voters will hold its annual Candidates Nights on Wednesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 23. Both evening events will be held at the Fairfield Woods Middle School Auditorium, 115 Fairfield Woods Road. 

October 16, starting at 7:00 PM, candidates for the Board of Finance, followed by candidates for the Board of Education, will present their outlooks and plans, and answer questions from the floor. The moderator will be Charlotte Garrell, a former president and member of the Fairfield League. 

October 23, starting a half-hour later at 7:30 PM, the candidates for First Selectman, followed by the candidates for Selectman, will do the same. Kay Maxwell, a former president of both the state and the national League, will moderate.

The public is invited to come, hear the candidates, and ask questions. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.
