Town of Fairfield Inauguration, Nov. 22

Fairfield, CT - The public is cordially invited to attend the Town of Fairfield’s Inauguration Ceremony on Monday, November 22, at 7pm at Fairfield Warde High School’s auditorium, 755 Melville Avenue. 

First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick will serve as Master of Ceremonies. In addition to the Town Clerk swearing in all newly elected officials, First Congregational Church’s Reverend David Spollett will give the Invocation and Rabbi Shlame Landa will give the Benediction. The ceremony also includes the Town’s Police and Fire Honor Guard and a local boy and girl scout troop.

Since this event is taking place in the evening when school is not in session, any person who is fully vaccinated is not required to wear a mask while indoors. However, per Executive Order 13A, a person while indoors in a public place who does not maintain a safe social distance of approximately six feet from every other person and who is not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 shall cover their mouth and nose with a mask or cloth face covering.  

The above applies to all those in attendance regardless of age.
