Fairfield Offers Post-Snowstorm Warming Center & Showers

Fairfield, CT - Due to the lingering effects of Winter Storm Quinn, which impacted Connecticut Wednesday March 7, Fairfield has opened a warming shelter and is offering showers for residents without power. 

Warming Shelter: 

Black Rock Church at 3685 Black Rock Turnpike has offered the church as a warming shelter Thursday, March 8, for those without power who need to keep warm, charge their phones or use the internet.

Light food and coffee will be available

Those needing more information or who are looking for someone who may be at the shelter can call the church at 203 255-3401.

The church will be open till 5pm but hours may be extended if needed.

Showering: Those seeking warm showers can use the Town Recreation Department's Fitness Center at 75 Mill Plain Road till 9:30pm, on Thurs. March 8.
