FAIRFIELD, CT – This week the Fairfield Health Department is celebrating National Public Health Week by educating the community about important health topics.
National Public Health Week is April 1st - 7th, 2019, and the purpose is to recognize the contributions of public health and focus on issues pertaining to improving our nation’s overall health. These topics have a direct impact on Fairfield and our community as a whole.
Each day this week there are different themes that focus on different aspects and topics regarding public health. Below are the daily topics:
Monday 4/1 – Healthy Communities
Tuesday 4/2 – Violence Prevention
Wednesday 4/3 – Rural Health
Thursday 4/4 – Technology and Public Health
Saturday and Sunday 4/6 & 4/7 – Global Health
