About Summer Chorus and Music on the Hill

The 2016 Summer Chorus of 70 voices is the largest in the group's fourteen-year history. The ensemble draws singers from across the region each July to perform a major work from the classical choral repertoire. Ms. Dickinson is its founding director.

The Summer Chorus is one of Music on the Hill's four performing ensembles, along with the Festival Chorus, Chamber Chorus, and the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir. Music on the Hill also offers music workshops and an August Summer Sings series, all under the leadership of its artistic directors: David H. Connell (D.M.A.) and Ellen Dickinson (M.M.)
