Dr. Sabrina Magid Katz of Advanced Dentistry of Westchester and Adam S. Katz, Esq. co-chaired the YWCA’s Third Annual Movers and Shakers Fundraiser on October 13th in White Plains. Over 270 attendees gathered to mingle with top female chefs from Westchester County.
Innovative female chefs from Westchester County cooked for the cause- to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice and freedom. The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester celebrated and applauded the achievements of the honorees that best exemplified the mission of the YWCA- making the movement stronger every day.
Dr. Magid Katz serves on the board of the YWCA and has attended the YWCA since she was a child.
“As a woman who is a young professional, it is important to me that young girls are encouraged to pursue their dreams and goals, and given the support to do so. Eliminating racism and empowering women are bedrock principles in ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to thrive,” said Dr. Magid Katz.
Honorees included the Bellantoni Family; Ben Himmelfarb; Barbara Lerman, Esq.; Bill Mooney, III; and Sekai Ndemanga.
