Food Donations Needed

On Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20, the Rye Y's Togetherhood volunteers will team up with our summer campers to collect non-perishable food for Bread of Life.

Bread of Life meets the urgent food needs of underfunded and undersupplied pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens throughout southern Westchester County. This small, grassroots organization serves 400 families every week at its Rye food pantry alone and thousands more at other facilities.

The following items are needed: Canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, cereal, soup.

Please leave your donation in the box in the Rye Y’s lobby.

More of our neighbors go hungry or struggle with food insecurity than we know. Together, we can make a real difference!

The Rye Y's Togetherhood program engages volunteers of all ages in community service projects. For more information, contact  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
