Bronx River Run Pedal Paddle on April 13 from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Join the Bronx River: Run Pedal Paddle organized by the Bronx River Alliance & Bronx Sole!
Gather a team of 4 friends for this team relay event. There will be 10 teams that consist of 4 people. Each team will have 1 runner, 1 biker and 2 paddlers. The running leg is approximately 2.6 miles. The biking leg is approximately 3.6 miles and the paddling leg is approximately 1 mile long. Each team will have 1 slap wrist band that they will pass to their teammate at the end of their leg.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
The BXRPP is a fun one day, non-competitive relay event that promotes an active lifestyle through running, biking and canoeing while highlighting the Bronx River and its greenway. We want to make it clear that THIS IS NOT A RACE.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone ages 18 years and older.
WHAT RUNNERS NEED TO KNOW
The runners will start at E. 233rd Street and Kepler Ave. and end in Bronx Park near Arnow Ave.
WHAT BIKERS NEED TO KNOW
Bikers MUST bring their own bikes and helmets. BIKES & HELMETS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Bikers will start at Bronx Park near Arnow Ave. and end in Starlight Park.
WHAT PADDLERS NEED TO KNOW
Some canoeing experience is REQUIRED. All paddlers must show up ON TIME to the meeting point at Concrete Plant Park as we will provide a paddling and canoe safety demonstration. Canoes and life vest will be provided. Canoers will begin in Concrete Plant Park and end at Hunts Point Riverside Park.

Registration includes admission to a party at location to be determined near the end of the event as well as a custom event t-shirt.
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, you must be 18 or older to participate
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is no designated parking at any of the race start or endpoints. We strongly encourage you to use public transportation.
Is there a rain date?
Yes! In the event of rain, the event will be held the next day on Sunday 4/14/19. The event will be canceled only if there are hazardous weather conditions. In the event of a rainout, participants will be notified 24 hours in advance. If the event is canceled due to rain, there are no refunds and all proceeds will be considered a donation to the Bronx River Alliance.
