Sarah Curtis, of Harrison, N.Y., graduated after majoring in philosophy and minoring in Japanese and Asian studies at Bates. Curtis, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Curtis of Harrison, N.Y., is a 2014 graduate of Harrison High School.
