The Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) conducts spring and fall regional household hazardous waste collections at a various sites in member and non-member towns. Residents of Bloomfield, East Granby, East Hartford, Farmington, Hartford, Newington, Rocky Hill, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, and Windsor Locks can participate in any MDC sponsored collection day.
The 2015 Household Hazwaste Collection Schedule is as follows (collections are held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified):
