Connecticut Science Center Hosting Winter Vacation Exploration Camps

The Connecticut Science Center is hosting three Vacation Exploration Camps for kids who have days off from school this winter.

Grossed Out, on December 29, explores the "smelly, icky, gooey" aspects of the human body and the Science Center's new traveling exhibit Grossology: The (Impolite)Science of the Human Body.

On December 30, Animation Station lets participants "design and direct [their] own stop motion animated video."

And on January 19, Operation Launch is all about "the science of launching, flinging and slinging."

Registration costs are as follows:

  • $57 per day for Science Center Members and Corporate Members ($62 on or after December 1)
  • $60 per day employees of businesses in downtown Hartford ($65 on or after December 1)
  • $63 per day for non-members ($68 on or after December 1)

The Connecticut Science center is located at 250 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford.
