The Power to B Bracelets Raise Nearly $3,000 To Give Families Hope////

The Power to B jewelry collection was created to empower people with powerful phrases. Now the founding sisters have put those words into action by donating $2,820 to three charities dedicated to helping families and children. Christina Baribault Ortiz and Raeann Baribault Schwartz launched separate charitable campaigns to raise money for The Hope for Fertility Foundation, the Robb School Memorial Fund, and the Glastonbury Education Foundation.

“The mission of our company is to inspire everyone to tap into their own inner strength and courage to overcome obstacles,” said Christina, who started The Power to B three years ago with her sister Raeann. “We didn’t anticipate the creation of a close-knit community that has grown online and motivated us to help others financially with impactful initiatives.”

After overcoming their own infertility struggles, the first charity beneficiary that the pair selected is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between infertility and fertility. The Hope for Fertility Foundation offers financial assistance to the one in eight couples in the U.S. having difficulty conceiving. During National Infertility Awareness Month in April, Mother’s Day in May and World Infertility Awareness Month in June, 20% of the proceeds from every purchase of the limited-edition Hope for Fertility bracelet benefitted the charity. A total of 26 pieces were sold, resulting in a $250 donation.

The second The Power to B custom charity bracelet featured a signature royal blue cord, the color of Glastonbury High School with the choice of all 5 power words; B Limitless (a graduate favorite) B strong, B Fierce, B Fearless, or B Badass in silver.  A combined donation of $570 from online and in-store sales at Baribault Jewelers will be made to the Glastonbury Education Foundation.

Lastly, in an effort to heal the unimaginable grief of the Uvalde, Texas families affected by the Robb Elementary School shooting, the memorial fund will receive 100% of the proceeds from every purchase of a special edition bracelet featuring the school’s colors. A total of 49 pieces raised $2,110 for the fund, which includes counseling services for the school children.

“We are committed to continuing our philanthropic custom designs in support of the vital programs offered by the countless charities that help hurting families and children heal by providing hope,” concluded Baribault Ortiz.

The full Power to B collection can be purchased online at www.ThePowertoB.com or in-store at Baribault Jewelers at 81 Rankin Road in Glastonbury, Conn. Additionally, the line is available at both Water Street Jewelers locations at 769 Boston Post Road in Madison, Conn. and 61 Whitfield Street in Guilford, Conn.
