
The American Red Cross is helping 21 people – 20 adults and one child in 10 families – after a fire earlier today on Blue Hills Avenue in Hartford.
The Red Cross provided help with emergency housing, food, clothing and baby needs to a family of two adults and one child, as well as providing a stuffed animal toy for the child.
Seven adults in four families were helped with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.
Eleven adults in five families received help with emergency food and clothing needs.
Red Cross team members Eloise Bennett, Ann Marie Braun, Pat Calcinari, Ginger Flynn and Karl Kuhn responded to assist the families.
