Rescheduled: Making of a Legend: The Life and Times of Walter J. “Doc” Hurley at Hartford Public Library

On Wednesday, January 28, the Hartford Public Library's Hartford History Center, located in the Downtown branch, will host the Making of a Legend: The Life and Times of Walter J. “Doc” Hurley Book Launch.

The event, celebrating "the life and legacy of legendary Hartford coach Walter "Doc" Hurley" will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception for author Charles A. Teale, Sr., a former chief of the Hartford Fire Department.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. The event is free and open to the public.
