Aquiline Drones Soars on the Course as Hartford Golf Tournament Sponsor

The team at Aquiline Drones helped ACEC CT rise to the top of the leader board by serving as a sponsor of the organization’s 9^th Annual Golf Outing held on July 30, 2020 at Keney Park Golf Club in Hartford, CT. Specifically, the drone airline supplied Aquiline Drones-branded golf balls to the event participants, and hosted a display that offered information about its new drone pilot training and workforce development program called Flight-to-the-Future.

The nearly 100 tournament participants enjoyed a great round of golf and networked with associates on the course, followed by a dinner with raffle prizes.

Bradford Sabean, an engineer at AECOM, a multinational engineering company in Rocky Hill, CT, was the winner of a free success kit to Aquiline Drone’s Flight-to-the-Future training program which starts on September 1, 2020.

“Drone technology is only becoming more and more useful in our industry now with expanded capacities in the future, so I am very privileged and excited to be selected from such a large group of golfers,” said Sabean. “This pilot program will definitely be put to beneficial use!”

The Structural Engineers Coalition (SEC), a Coalition of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Connecticut (ACEC/CT), hosts the annual golf event to benefit the ACEC Political Action Committee. The Coalition was established to pursue the common interests of firms who practice structural engineering and who are members of American Council Of Engineering Companies of Connecticut (ACEC/CT) or Individual Members.
