“When we first opened our Fairfield office in 2018, we learned that a lot of our senior clients were looking for more of a personal assistant to save them time and energy so that they can enjoy their retirement,” said Mario D’Aquila, chief operating officer at ALS. “By moving our operations into Westport, we are able to help a greater number of elderly residents across the lower Fairfield County region not only with companionship duties, but also with the exemplary level of in-home care that has defined our company for the past 25 years.”

The new 700 square-foot office, centrally located at 991 Post Road East in Westport, offers easy access to the downtown area and is close to many premier assisted living facilities and senior retirement communities. It also allows ALS caregivers and ALT system installers to travel quickly to such towns as Darien, New Caanan, Wilton, Stamford and Greenwich to keep up with consumer demand.

ALS is uniquely poised to provide the gold-stand level of care residents of one of the highest income per capita areas of the country will appreciate. “Whether a person needs 24-hour assistance with constant monitoring or simply needs someone to run errands, we have experience in all levels of care,” explained D’Aquila. “We can provide any type of non-medical home care or concierge service that helps your loved one to remain safe and independent in their particular living environment.”

D’Aquila notes that all ALS employees undergo a national criminal background check and are trained as home health aides or have received training at a nurse aide program. Additionally, ALS is Registered Nurse-owned and operated and employs a Director of Education that is a Registered Nurse and Dementia Care Specialist.
