The family-owned company received three distinguished 2023 Best of Home Care awards; Leader in Excellence, Employer of Choice and Provider of Choice. The Leader in Excellence Award is the highest distinction and is bestowed only to select home care businesses that consistently place among the top in 10 or more quality metrics. This ranks ALS among the top 15% of home care providers nationwide participating in the Home Care Pulse Satisfaction Management Program. This is the 3rd time the family-owned agency with offices in Cheshire and Westport has received the awards.

This accomplishment demonstrates Assisted Living Service’s long-term dedication to excellent care and quality improvement. To qualify for this award, 10% of the agency’s clients and caregivers were interviewed each month by Home Care Pulse. Over a 12-month period, the company received high client and caregiver satisfaction ratings in areas such as caregiver training, compassion of caregivers, communication, scheduling, client/caregiver compatibility, and more. Using feedback from clients and employees, as well as quality benchmarks from Home Care Pulse, the Assisted Living Services management team set goals to reach the highest level of excellence possible.
