Johnna Kaplan - Hartford City Center Editor
Johnna was born in New York City and raised in Westport. After many years away, she returned to Connecticut in 2007 and lived in New London and Putnam before moving to Hartford in 2013. As a freelance writer, she has covered travel, history, personal organization, Jewish issues, Connecticut news, and other assorted topics for magazines, newspapers, and the web. She blogs about the Nutmeg State at The Size of Connecticut.
As editor of Hartford City Center HamletHub, Johnna looks forward to exploring her new home and in the process providing residents of Hartford (and beyond) with information on local places, people, and events. She hopes Hartfordites will share their experiences and ideas, and help her as she discovers all that Connecticut's capital city has to offer.
