From the Arctic to the Ocean: Wolves Around the World on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 7:00 pm
Wolves, one of the most resilient animals, are found in many habitats: the Arctic tundra, the coastal waters of the Great Bear Rainforest, the woodlands of the southwestern United States. Although these areas vary drastically in terms of foliage and prey sources, wolves are the top predators in each. Join Steve Schellenberg, wildlife photographer and guide, as he discusses the elusive wolves of the Arctic and delves into the almost-mythical lifestyle of British Columbia’s coastal wolves. Guests will learn about the challenges facing these essential animals, while also uncovering the challenges facing many other “extreme” animals such as polar bears, penguins, and grizzly bears.
