From ET to Kerry Kennedy, The Remains of the Day to Mark Bittman -- we've got a myriad of exciting film and speaker events kicking off our partial opening next weekend.

Join Bedford Playhouse on Saturday night, June 2 at 6pm for cocktails and informal tours. At 7pm, grab a seat for our very first public screening of the beloved classic, Singin' in the Rain. Bring the family on Sunday for popcorn, candy and everyone's favorite extra-terrestrial, ET.

Saturday, June 2, 7pm: Come watch a glorious 4K digital print of the Merchant-Ivory classic, The Remains of the Day, in tribute to former Bedford resident Christopher Reeve and featuring special guest Will Reeve. This film was nominated for eight Os cars and also stars Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins. Playhouse Founder John Farr will speak with Will about his father's life and legacy just before the film.

Thursday, June 7, 6:30pm: To commemorate the 50th anniversary of RFK's untimely death, we are showing the 1968 Academy Award-winning documentary Robert Kennedy Remembered. Kerry Kennedy will be on-hand after the film to discuss her new book, Robert F. Kennedy: Ripples of Hope, and take questions from the audience.

Thursday, June 14: Join us for a screening of the unfinished documentary Right to Harm, which takes a provocative look at the powerful industrial farming business in rural America. Then stay for a Q&A session afterward with the filmmakers and New York Times food writer and activist Mark Bittman.

Friday, June 15: Be among the first to see one of the most anticipated releases of Summer 2018 -- Incredibles 2!  In this latest installment, Elastigirl springs into action to save the day, while Mr. Incredible faces his greatest challenge yet -- taking care of his three children.
