Free Outdoor Concert in the Village of Brewster to Bring Community Together with Great Music, Good Food, Beer, Wine, Vendors, Children’s Activities and more!
What’s all the buzz about a FREE outdoor concert in Brewster? Excitement is building for the Second Annual Brewster Music Festival. Our bands, The Libertine Project, Soul Proprietors, Special Sauce and The Fresh Paint are creating a lineup of music sure to rock Wells Park on June 9th from 12-6pm. They’ll be joined solo artists Frank Funigiello, Jr. and Jeffrey Marano. Co-producer, Paul Toscano states, “Some great bands will be performing various styles of Blues, Rock, Soul and Funk. Between acts we’ll offer fine acoustic performances. There’s something for everyone’s tastes. Chill out and rock out in a beautiful setting.”
Frank Funigiello of Confident Home Inc. is volunteering his talents to help organize the event. “People can explore the picturesque Wells Park. Our Beer and Wine stations will be housed in the tennis courts. A cooling station will be located in a building by the front entrance with the Fire Department’s volunteer EMTs onsite. The parks has it’s own bathroom facilities. The vendors will line the outside of the expansive lawn, so everyone can have a great view of the stage,” explains Frank.
Over 40 vendors will offer a variety of items, information and services. Consultants representing Thirty-One Gifts, LuLaRoe, Avon, and Tupperware will provide the best of their product lines. Jewelry vendors include Anne Koplik Designs, Paparazzi, Gastelu Sterling Silver, Feelgood Necklaces and LunaChix Jewelry. Businesses and organizations including The Home Depot, Brewster Fitness, Putnam Bright Smile Dentistry, World Heritage Cultural Center, The Village Acupuncturist, the Music Cottage, Guardian Veterinary Specialists, Dwyer Vet 2 Vet of Putnam, David Lerner Associates, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County, Brewster Emergency Shelter Partnership, CAP, Carmel Cinema and Brewster Fire Department are also participating. Other vendors include Organo Coffee, 3 Little Birdies Boutique, and Ed Dabrowski Artworks. You can also buy face painting, glitter tattoos, or temporary metallic tats from Lulus Face Painting; Tarot Card Readings from MCM Tarot ; and an all day bouncer admission by FunZone Inflatables. More vendors are being added every day.
"Any festival would not be complete without good food and drink. We have some of the best vendors in the area including the Italian American Club’s famous sausage and pepper wedges. With the addition of Brotherhood wine and beer from Beer Time, you are guaranteed to leave happy and satisfied," states co-producer, Judy Marano. Other food vendors include Tropical Fruits & Beverages, Uncle Louie G, Stuf'd Truck, RoadGrub. and the award-winning Outlaw BBQ!

The 2nd Annual Brewster Music Festival is set to rock out on June 9, 2018 from 12-6PM at Wells Park at 98 Oak Street in Brewster. The rain date is June 10, 2018. Admission is FREE. Bring chairs and blankets to claim your space on the beautiful “great lawn” in the park.
