"Shakespeare at Sunset' at Rockefeller State Park Preserve

Shakespeare at Sunset
Friday, June 10, 2022 07:00 PM - 08:30 PM
Rockefeller State Park Preserve

As William Shakespeare famously wrote, "All the world's a stage." Bring a picnic and a blanket and come ready to read or just relax and listen. We will have fun with the Bard's work as it was meant to be experienced: outdoors and out loud, without homework, essays, or tests. Whether you're a novice, a major fan, or a seasoned veteran of the stage, this event is for you. Feel free to bring your favorite monologue or scene to share.

Sunglasses and a hat are recommended. Everyone 12+ is welcome.

This event is at Rockwood Hall, DO NOT go to the main Preserve entrance. The parking lot is on Kendal Way off route 117, just after the intersection of Phelps and Regeneron. If the lot is full, you may park in the Phelps garage. Gather at the kiosk at the top of the hill across the street from the parking lot.

Cost: $3 + Eventbrite fees. Max: 20 people. Rain date: June 17. Open-source photo framed by artwork courtesy of Camille Butterfield. www.RockefellerStateParkPreserve.org/events
