Brewster HamletHub Recognized by Village Officials

Brewster HamletHub has been recognized, along with other Village businesses for their work in keeping Village and Town residents informed and safe during the Coronavirus pandemic.

As businesses are slowly starting to be able to open their doors again, the Village of Brewster extended a thank you to all of the businesses who were considered essential and stayed open or were asked to stay open during this time.

In June, the Village of Brewster Board of Trustees asked the public to nominate businesses in the Village who have supported the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. These businesses may have donated food to those in need or were complying with social distancing rules and staying open to serve the public and/or keeping them well informed.

Brewster HamletHub and it's Editors were considered and recognized as a vital and essential part of the community for keeping Village residents informed throughout the emergency.

The Village of Brewster honored these businesses at their July 15th Board of Trustee meeting with proclamations. Due to Social Distancing guidelines a large ceremony was not possible but Village representatives held small gatherings on the sidewalk in Front of Village Hall on Main Street and even went to some establishments to deliver the proclamations such as the Brewster Public Library who they cited as an instrumental service for their patrons and residents. Hamlet Hub was recognized on Monday August 24th by Trustees Mary Bryde and George Gaspar along with Village Clerk Michelle Chiudina for their work at Village Hall.

The following businesses were recognized at the July 15, 2020 Board of Trustees Meeting:

Brewster Hamlethub
