Learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why it's a special time for packs in North America. Whether the wolves are living on the Arctic tundra or the woodlands of the southwest, wolf families are out searching for prey as they celebrate the birth of pups! Guests will visit Ambassador Wolves Alawa, Nikai, and Zephyr, and possibly the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves as well. Pre-registration is required.

This is the best introduction to wolves for families with young children.  Kids will learn about the mythology surrounding wolves and the important role of wolves in the natural world. This is an exciting time for wolves; they are out searching for prey as they prepare for the birth of this year's pups!  Guests will visit Ambassador Wolves Alawa, Nikai, and Zephyr, and possibly the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves as well.  Pre-registration is required.

Sleeping with Wolves, the Wolf Conservation Center's (WCC) popular nocturnal adventure experience, gives guests a chance to camp out overnight with the 40+ wolves that call the WCC home! With all the howls, circling vultures, and nature's nighttime chatter, you'll feel like you're camping under the stars with wild wolves. We might not be Yellowstone, but we're pretty close! Pre-registration is required. Space is limited and dates sell out quickly!

Early Morning Photo Session

Fee: $100 per person

Join us for this special opportunity to photograph the WCC's Ambassador Wolves: Nikai, Alawa, and Zephyr!  Guests will also be given access to photograph the WCC's critically endangered Mexican wolves and red wolves from vantage points not generally available during regular visits.  Pre-registration is required.  Space is very limited, so make your reservation early.

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig

Join Chris Evers, Director & Founder of Animal Embassy on a journey around the world as we meet incredible live Animal Ambassadors! Turn fear into respect & appreciation by learning about animal behavior and appearance. We will discuss predators such as wolves and bears, and discover how pigs, snakes, spiders and scorpions help us all. We'll learn how some tortoises dig burrows that provide homes for hundreds of other species and we'll discover how a variety of animals keep us healthy by eating disease-carrying insects. We will also explore how animals dig trenches for their offspring and adopt orphaned babies. Animal Ambassadors will include a Kunekune Pig from New Zealand, an African Sulcata Tortoise, a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, an Emperor Scorpion, a Boa Constrictor and a Spectacled Owl.

After the talk, guests will visit WCC Ambassador wolves, as well as potentially behold the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves.

Celebrate the June full moon with the Wolf Conservation Center's 40+ moon-loving wolves! While enjoying Nature's summer chatter by the WCC's outdoor fire pit, guests will enjoy seasonal treats and the symphony of howls from the wolves that call the WCC home. Guests will learn about the history of wolves in the United States, the importance of wolves in a healthy ecosystem, and the efforts to save these magnificent creatures for future generations. Guests will also take will take a short moonlit walk to visit Ambassador Wolves Alawa, Zephyr and Nikai! Please bring flashlights. Pre-registration is required.

Enjoy your morning coffee with our wolves! Visitors are encouraged to bring their newspapers and spend a relaxing morning with our Ambassador and red wolves.  We'll provide the coffee... and the wolves! The wolves can be very active in the early morning so we ask that visitors remain quiet and subdued, as this is a peaceful, private moment for all involved.   Pre-registration is required.

Join us for a special Evening Howl and enjoy visiting the wolves during their favorite hour - dusk. Learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolves in North America while enjoying a lovely spread of wine and cheese. Guests will take a short sunset hike to howl with Ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa, Nikai and Zephyr and potentially behold the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican wolves too. This program is for adults 21 years old and over. Pre-registration is required.
