In an effort to keep you informed, we are sharing information on the Measles provided by the NYS Health Department.

Please remember that there is no risk of getting measles if an individual has been properly immunized. Individuals are considered immune if:
- He or she has had two valid doses of the MMR vaccine or another live measles-containing vaccine;
- Born before 1957; or,
- Born after 1957 and received at least one dose of the MMR vaccine.
If you are not sure if you were vaccinated against measles or have further questions, please check with your healthcare provider.
