On July 26, 2020, New York State Police conducted an occupant safety enforcement detail at Franklin D. Roosevelt park in Yorktown to ensure that visitors to state parks are buckling up for safety. The total tickets issued were 58; which resulted in 52 Child Restraint tickets, 1 seat belt ticket, and 5 other tickets.
