Sizzlin' BBQ FUNdraiser at Lewisboro Town Park on May 18

BBQ Feast will Benefit St. John’s Parish and the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps

On Saturday, May 18, from 1pm to 5pm at the Lewisboro Town Park, you can feast like a king at a catered, all-you-can-eat barbecue and feel good knowing you’re helping two long-time local institutions – St. John’s Parish and the Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Thomas Fox Catering of Mount Kisco (“Best of Westchester”) will present a Sizzling Southern Barbecue featuring slow-cooked smoked pulled pork, all-American burgers and hot dogs with all the fixins’, Fox’s homemade mac ‘n cheese, Texas-style baked beans, cole slaw and corn bread.

A pie bake-off and a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cart will highlight an assortment of delicious desserts.

The event will feature music, games for the kids and a K-9 demonstration by Lewisboro Police. There will be a silent auction for romantic getaways, like a two-night stay at the fabulous Hotel Indigo in Los Angeles, great gifts like Yankees, Mets and Red Bulls tickets, and a $3,000 gift certificate from Marks Landscape Lighting.

Funds raised for the Ambulance Corps will help pay for their new ambulance, which will provide state-of-the-art emergency services for the community. St. John’s Parish, which includes St. John’s Church in South Salem and St. Paul’s Chapel in Vista, is celebrating its 260th year in Lewisboro and will soon be undertaking much-needed restorations in its two facilities.

Advance tickets are required and can be purchased through the parish website HERE or by calling 914 763-8273. Adult tickets are $40 and children’s are $20. The event will take place rain or shine.
