Lewisboro Library's Boterkoek Bake Sale Starts Today!

During the month of March, culinary historian and former Library Trustee, Peter G. Rose, is offering to bake 12 of her well-known Boterkoek (Dutch shortbread) as a fundraiser to benefit the Lewisboro Library.

Anyone who has attempted to buy these during our Pop-Up Bake Sales knows they sell out quickly!

Each cake is 8” round and has approximately 1-3/4 pounds of mouth-watering goodness.

The cost of each large Boterkoek is $25, payable to the Library.

Orders and payments may be placed in person at the Library or online HERE.

Pick-up will be during Library hours on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st.

Boterkoek stays fresh for up to two weeks in the refrigerator and also freeze very well. These delicious "butter cakes" will go fast, so order your Boterkoek sooner rather than later!

100% of profits go to the Lewisboro Library… can you think of a sweeter way to make a donation to support your local library?
