Could your address once have been part of Ridgefield? The eastern section of town, the hamlets of Vista, Lewisboro Hamlet and South Salem, were all part of a disputed area called The Oblong that once was part of Ridgefield. Jack Sanders, who has spent 50 years writing about Ridgefield history, will discuss odd and interesting people, places and things of the border between the two towns, including, spies, snakes, writers and even some devil worshippers.
