Lewisboro Celebrates First Day!
Join your neighbors and friends for Lewisboro’s fifth annual First Day Celebration. Celebrate the New Year with your community at a host of fantastic events which will take place on Tuesday, January 1st from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Meet your friends & neighbors at the Horse & Hound, Spring Street in South Salem for a Special First Day Brunch from 12:30-3:30.
$15 pp, $10 kids. You don’t have to pick a specific time, but if you are coming, make a reservation so H&H knows how many folks to plan on: 914-763-3108. (Free reusable bags will be available at H&H as Lewisboro’s plastic ban begins Jan. 1)
Wolf Conservation Center: 8:00-9:00am
Start the New Year with celebratory howls from the 48 wolves who live here. RSVP: Alex @nywolf.org. Hot drinks.
Yoga at Onatru: 9-10am
Join Kripalu instructors Bobbe Stultz and Jo Ann Hickey for a yoga renewal to welcome in the new year! All welcome. Practice/ short meditation has options for all levels. Bring mat or use ours!
Lewisboro Garden Club — Make your own birdfeeders at Onatru Farm 10-11am.
Lewisboro Land Trust: 11:00-12:00
Hike at Leon Levy Preserve, followed by hot drinks around the fire, provided by Vista-Lewisboro Cub Scouts Pack 101. Meet at LLP parking area on Rte. 123, 1/2 mile south of Route 35, SS. Lewisboro Lions Club will be hosting free refreshments at Onatru Farm from 11-3pm.
Origami Making. 11:30: a French Sing-along for kids with a great performer!! All welcome – kid snacks/drinks; refreshments for the adults.
Lewisboro Library - 12:30-2:00
Make handmade greeting cards (they will be donated to hospitalized kids). All ages & their families. Register: 875-9004. Refreshments.
