A Captivating Evening of High Art: RSO’s March Concert

Join the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra for a marvelous evening of music at its upcoming concert “High Art” at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, March 16th at 8:00 PM. RSO Music Director Yuga Cohler will conduct a program which includes Anton Webern’s dramatic Six Pieces for Orchestra, Ottorino Respighi’s beautiful Trittico Botticelliano (Three Botticelli Pictures) and Joseph Haydn’s glorious Cello Concerto in C Major performed by acclaimed soloist Jay Campbell.

“We are truly looking forward to this concert!” says RSO Executive Director Laurie Kenagy. “The musical program is absolutely wonderful and to perform these pieces in the intimate setting of the Ridgefield Playhouse will be fantastic. We are also thrilled to have internationally acclaimed cellist Jay Campbell with us as soloist for the concert. Jay has performed with orchestras all over the world, including the New York Philharmonic, and we are very fortunate to have him in concert with the RSO in Ridgefield.”

Tickets for the concert can be purchased online at ridgefieldsymphony.org or by calling the RSO Box Office at (203) 438-3889.
