Let's Not Be Still 5K on Saturday in South Salem

Let's Not Be Still 5K and Festival for stillbirth awareness, education, and research on Saturday, May 18 at Meadow Pond Elementary School (185 Smith Ridge Road) in South Salem. 

Registration begins at 8:15 am and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9am.

Have you or someone you know had a stillborn baby?  Each year 24,000 babies are born still in the United States, a statistic that hasn't changed in years. 

The Star Legacy Foundation's area chapter is hosting the Let's Not Be Still 5 k Run/ Walk and festival.  Star Legacy Foundation is the premier non-profit in the United States dedicated to stillbirth research and education.  

Our mission is to increase awareness, support research, promote education, encourage advocacy, and provide support to families who have been devastated by the loss of their baby.  We believe that many of these tragedies can be prevented, and we aim to save precious lives by ultimately driving down the number of stillbirths, pregnancy losses, and neonatal deaths in the US and beyond.
